Our Doctors are Board Certified Doctors of Chiropractic with over 800 hours in specialty, post graduate training in Animal Chiropractic. Both Doctors are certified by the IVCA in Animal Chiropractic. We are specialists and are not the primary care physician for your animal. Please see your DVM for primary care needs.
Dr. Darcey Ladner, DC
Dr. Darcey showed Quarter Horses growing up and went to college to ride IHSA for the Midway Equestrian Team. While there, they had a horse that would not take the right lead after a jump. Some of the best veterinarians in Kentucky did traditional nerve blocks, injections, and lameness exams to no avail. Finally, an animal chiropractor adjusted the horse, and the horse loped off sound. It was that instantaneous. What an intro to chiropractic!

A year later, a riding accident led to a significant back injury. This injury was Dr. Darcey’s first opportunity to get help from a chiropractor. The experience led her to change focus and enroll in chiropractic school. Dr. Darcey earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University. In school, as she learned more about chiropractic, she realized that no medication could do what a chiropractor could.

Currently, Dr Darcey's focus in on healing animals and spending time on her hobby horse farm in Weddington, NC with her family. For 20 years, she owned and operated Omni Wellness Center, a multi doctor chiropractic office treating patients using chiropractic, nutrition, acupuncture, and rehabilitative therapy.
